Tailored for complete beginners to aerial yoga, the Aerial Beginners Course at avoyoga will give you a great introduction into aerial yoga (often called anti-gravity yoga), while helping you build a solid foundation with a level of comfort and confidence to build upon, as you progress in your aerial yoga journey.

In this course our expert instructors will guide you through the correct techniques to safely use the aerial hammocks (also known as aerial silks or swings), including how to grip, wrap and trap the fabric so that you're always in full control.

Over the 6 weeks we will work towards developing your sense of balance, agility, body, and spatial awareness, all while building upper body strength! You will learn all the basic, beginner friendly poses and transitions before moving onto more complex flows and open fabric sequences.

This course is suitable for all ages, skill levels and doesn't require any previous experience.
